Promoting open learning for women and girls’ education at PCF8 Marketplace

True to the spirit of open learning, the Market Exchange at the 8th Pan-Commonwealth Forum (PCF8) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia provided a space for sharing of ideas, resources, learning materials and products in open learning.

GIRLS Inspire partners – Bedari, the Centre for Mass Education in Science, the Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child, Mann Deshi Foundation and Shidhulai Swanirvar Sangstha – shared the tools and learning resources they use in communities and villages to build life skills and vocational skills and to increase awareness on the harmful impact of child, early and forced marriage and the benefits of girls’ education in families and in the wider economy.
