Around the world, girls face disadvantages, from lack of education, child and early forced marriage, lack of employment opportunities and sexual vulnerability. This year's International Day of the Girl Child provides an opportunity to highlight the power of girls everywhere and the continued need to focus on gender issues. Girls Inspire is privileged to work with partners and girls globally that are making a difference for the girl child.

International Day for the Eradication of Poverty

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

1 in 3 women are estimated to experience violence based on their gender in their lifetime. (WHO, 2016). Human Rights Day
